Google to halt Nexus One sales

Google has announced that after they sell their remaining stock of Nexus Ones they will no longer offer the phone directly through the company’s online store. The phone will still be available internationally through KT (South Korea) and Vodafone (Europe), but it will become a rarity in the US. However, if you are an Android Developer you will still be able to receive the device through a 3rd party sales partner. Over the past year, despite poor sales, the Nexus One has served as the bench mark of what an Android phone should be. It started the trend of have high quality screens, coupled with high quality construction, a fast processor, and a high megapixel camera. The Nexus One has defined what Android phones will be for the foreseeable future.
