Android 2.2 comes to the T-Mobile G1
Early adopters of the T-Mobile G1 (HTC Dream/Magic) can now have the first fully-functioning build of CyanogenMod 6, which is based on Google’s Froyo (Android 2.2). Cyanogen’s rooted copy of Android 2.2 seems to have nearly all the bells and whistles of the actual version with the exception of Flash 10.1. While the majority of the software works without a hitch, converters are reporting errors when attempting to access the Android Marketplace from their phones. In addition, the rooting process can often lead to the bricking of your phone if you are not careful.
